Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Petra Schmidt heads the Business Informatics department at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, specialising in information and project management. In her lectures, she imparts in-depth knowledge of modern IT management and examines technological issues from both an international and an ethical perspective. Her aim is to prepare students as effectively as possible for the digital world of work of tomorrow through practical projects. She is committed to supporting students on their academic journey and looks forward to working with them in her courses.
