Information on copyright protection

• The authors endeavour to respect the copyright of all graphics and text used in their publications, to use graphics and text they have created themselves, or to use royalty-free graphics and text. Should any unlabelled graphic or text protected by a third party’s copyright nevertheless appear on the relevant pages, the authors were unable to ascertain the copyright status. In the event of such an unintentional copyright infringement, the authors will, upon notification, remove the relevant item from their publication or mark it with the appropriate copyright notice.
• The copyright for published material created by the authors themselves remains solely with the authors of the pages. Reproduction or use of such graphics or text in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express consent of the authors.

Copyright for software by HIS eG

• Copyright:
  Hochschul-Informations-System eG (HIS) is the owner of all industrial property rights and copyright in the software and the accompanying user documentation. The provisions of the Copyright Act apply even if the level of creativity required under Section 69a(3) of the Copyright Act is not met. Any references to copyright or other industrial property rights contained on or within the software must not be altered, removed or otherwise obscured.
  Use of the software is subject to the terms of the current licence and support agreement. The reproduction or redistribution of the software outside the terms of the licence and support agreement is expressly prohibited by law and may result in serious civil and criminal consequences. Any breaches will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.
  Without prejudice to the foregoing, copying or reproducing the software onto another server or elsewhere for the purpose of further reproduction or redistribution is expressly prohibited. The user must not rent out or lend the software. The user must not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software. Furthermore, Sections 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act (UrhG) remain unaffected.
  The warranty for the software is provided solely in accordance with the provisions of the Support and Licence Agreement. HIS makes no representations regarding the accuracy of the results arising from the use of the software.
  The photographs, icons and graphics used in the software are protected by copyright.
  The use of these works outside the software, in particular, but not limited to, for commercial purposes, is prohibited. An exception to this is the use by contractual partners of HIS eG who are authorised to use the software under current licence agreements, in the form of screenshots taken from the software for use in tutorials, guides and training courses for software users.

  The software utilises third-party software libraries. The licence information can be viewed in the list of libraries used.
