Prof. Dr.-Ing. Anika Möcker

Professor Möcker teaches on the ‘Sustainable real estate management’ degree programme and conducts research into sufficiency strategies for properties and neighbourhoods, as well as into building materials made from natural and renewable raw materials. Previously, the industrial engineer worked in property-related strategy development at Daimler AG and certified numerous buildings to DGNB and LEED standards. As valuable sustainability concepts often fail due to a lack of suitable investment strategies or meaningful impact forecasts for environmental protection potential, she now focuses in particular on ecological and economic life-cycle analyses in order to bridge precisely this gap.
