Taking the German language examination (DSH)

If you are unable to prove the necessary German language skills, we offer you the opportunity to take the preparatory course for the German language examination DSH-2 at our Studienkolleg. The admission requirement for this is the proof of German language skills of at least level A2 and the taking of an entrance test to determine the level of your German language skills.

Taking the assessment test (FSP)

If the result of the assessment test is that you do not have direct or subject-oriented access to higher education, you can take the preparatory course for the FSP at our Studienkolleg. The admission requirement for the Studienkolleg for the FSP course is proof of German language skills at least at level B2 and an entrance test that includes mathematics as well as German.

Registration for the Studienkolleg

Registration for the Studienkolleg is done via the Application Service of Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and is binding. The course fee is €1900 per semester for the DSH course and €2900 per semester for the FSP course. These fees must be paid in full as part of the application. If the visa application is rejected, the fees will be refunded less a registration fee of €250.
