Taking the German language examination (DSH)
If you are unable to prove the necessary German language skills, we offer you the opportunity to take the preparatory course for the German language examination DSH-2 at our Studienkolleg. The admission requirement for this is the proof of German language skills of at least level A2 and the taking of an entrance test to determine the level of your German language skills.
Taking the assessment test (FSP)
If the result of the assessment test is that you do not have direct or subject-oriented access to higher education, you can take the preparatory course for the FSP at our Studienkolleg. The admission requirement for the Studienkolleg for the FSP course is proof of German language skills at least at level B2 and an entrance test that includes mathematics as well as German.
Registration for the Studienkolleg
Registration for the Studienkolleg is done via the Application Service of Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and is binding. We charge a registration fee of 250 euros. This will be credited against the course fee (1900€ per semester DSH course and 2400€ per semester FSP course) in case of arrival. In case of non-arrival, this fee will not be refunded, but it is possible to participate at the next possible date of an entrance test. You will then also receive a new conditional pre-admission.
We offer refugee applicants the participation in a free INTEGRA course (DSH and FSP).
