Application documents
Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences application portal. As part of the application, the following documents must be uploaded :
- Passport copy
- CV
A verified (notarized) copy of the following document (preferably from the German Embassy), and a verified German or English translation of each document if required:
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Certificate of first academic degree, including transcript of records (for Master's studies)
- A university entrance examination certificate (if required/provided in your home country).
- Proof of one or two semesters of study at university, along with a transcript of records for each semester (if required).
- Proof of German language skills (if the study programme is not listed below)
Applicants from China, Vietnam and India:
- APS-Certificate (original)
To enroll, you will also need to submit following documents (only after pre-admission):
- A photo for your student ID in passport photo format.
- A notification from your health insurer (we are not allowed to accept travel health insurance).
- A semester fee payment invoice.
Applicants for the following study programmes additonally need to submit:
For Master of Applied Mathematics for Network and Data Sciences, Bachelor of Applied Mathematics, and Master Industrial Management – Specialization Innovation and Business Expansion:
- Proof of English skills
- At least basic knowledge of German is recommended
For Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT):
- Proof of English skills
- Proof of German skills, with at least DSH 1 or TestDaF (4 x 3)
Please also check if there are further special requirements for your desired study programme (e.g. completed internships, work experience, aptitude or entrance test).
You may also present a TestAS-certificate for foreign applicants, used to check your ability to study in Germany. The test participation is not obligatory, but recommended.
