Interdisciplinary Qualification

An interdisciplinary qualification is a broad range of knowledge and skills that characterize a general capability to teach. They are called Key Competences, which are activity-related and not subject-related. According to the SEM Project, interdisciplinary qualification consists of four sectors: 

1. Regarding future-oriented approach, competencies in digital learning and digital transformation are expected.

2. The Field of Key Competences includes development of individual competences and self-competences, such as self-organisation, team leading skills, motivation, mentoring, coaching, conflict management, collaboration and cooperation.

3. Above all, the interdisciplinary qualification includes methods and activity competences to fulfill tasks and solve problems, enabling selection, planing and implementation of solving methods (project management, analysis as well as collaborative, cooperative, creative strategies etc.). 

4. According to internationalisation of universities, the English language competencies in research and learning are indispensable and should be firmly established into everyday settings of every teacher.
