Training of Key Competences

The training of key competences takes up on the competence-oriented supervision of the students. Existing offers from Mittweida University of Applied Sciences will be restructured in the course of this process and adapted to individual particularities or market requirements.

  • Writing workshop: Implementation of the course "Scientific Work" with a focus on project-oriented work and weekly writing consulting  (PD Dr. G. Süß / C. Hösel)
  • Implementation of courses on scientific writing for international student groups (PD Dr. G. Süß)
  • Conception and implementation of the cross-faculty workshop in English „How to Read an Inspection Report ?“ (B. Schusser/ PD. Dr. G. Süß)
  • Conception and implementation of the certificate programme „Interculturality“ at the University of Mittweida (additional events in English are being offered to impart intercultural key competences (e.g. „Tell me your story, new neighbour“, „Television Series and Cultural Studies“, „The Self and the Other: Cultural and Social Theories of Diversity and Othering“) (PD Dr. G.
