Information days for freshmen
From 26 to 28 September, we invite all first-year students to the information days for freshmen.
One week before the official start of lectures, you will learn everything you need to know for a successful start to your studies and get to know your fellow students.
Program
Over the course of three days, you can expect a wide range of information mixed with leisure activities for a first exchange with each other.
- General information on WLAN and university login, use of the university library, studying abroad, the Studium Generale, university sports and BAföG (financial aid)
- Faculty presentation
- Information about your study programme
- Getting started - ABC
- Campus tour
- Breakfast together
- Barbecue evening
- and much more.

Digital information for freshmen
For "self-study" you can find the playlist "Infotage für Erstsemester" on the Youtube channel of Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. Important contact persons and many projects present themselves in videos and thus want to help you get into your studies. For example, the university library explains where and how to get the literature you need for your studies. The network and communication center explains how to check your e-mails with your university account and how to use the university network from outside.
